Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Most Unique Books I've Read 8/4/14

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because they are particularly fond of lists over there at The Broke and the Bookish. I'd love to share my lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!

I like this weeks list, I love discovering books which are just a bit different, so being able to celebrate that this week is fabulous!

1. The One Plus One by Jojo Moyes. This books is a really unique concept and also an amazing read, can't recommend it enough!

2. The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. I had never read anything like this when I fist read it at the start of last year and although there have been many who've tried to replicate the feeling you get whilst reading this, there have been none who've done something as unique!

3. The Arcade by Kitty Charles. This is a completely unique concept in today's book market, something serialised over the year, Charles Dickens did it, Arthur Conan Doyle did it, but not many people since have attempted it-a great series!

4. 13 Little Blue Envelopes by Maureen Johnson. What a great concept for a book, a kind of dual continent scavenger hunt-a really fun read!

5. The memory Book by Rowan Coleman. Another really unique but beautiful tale!

6. This Child of Mine by Sinead Moriarty. A tale of parenthood and heritage and told in such a compelling way-fabulous!

7. Longbourn by Jo Baker. A Look at Pride and Prejudice from the servants point of view-fabulous!

8. The House we Grew Up In by Lisa Jewell. A brilliant story about a family torn apart and a secret hoarder...

9. The First Last Kiss by Ali Harris. A brilliant story told through kisses (and blog posts)

10. Wonder by Rj Palacio. I haven't actually finished reading this YET funnily enough but I had to include it in the list because I think it's such a unquie and important concept behind the book.

So there you have it, my take on unique books. Let me know in the comments what you think of the list, whether you've read any of them and if you'd add any more to my list...
