Letterbox love #1

Welcome to Letterbox Love, this is a UK meme, hosted by the lovely Lynsey at Narratively Speaking and inspired by The Story Siren's In My Mailbox. This post is a means by which to highlight the books we get in the post and beyond, and especially to bring attention to those books which may be sat on our shelves for a little while yet that we love all the same.

So obviously over the Christmas holidays I did some book shopping. I didn't go mad & I bought some books that are quite different for me so let's see what I got.

I got some really cool & unusual books in the Foyles sale, a couple if signed copies too & I picked up one that wasn't reduced as well... I got The Sleeper & The Spindle by Neil Gaiman...

The Strange Library by Haruki Murakami because it just looked really interesting...

Goth Girl and the Fete Worse than Death by Chris Riddell, this is also signed. I haven't read the original Goth Girl yet despite hearing all about it from the author himself!

And once upon an alphabet which is an Oliver Jeffers book with a short story for all the letters of the alphabet!

During my trip to Texas I did visit a couple if bookshops including a heavenly branch of Barnes & Noble but I was really good & only bought one book-Oh Yeah Audrey by Tucker Shaw

So there's my most recent book haul for you-very restrained I think you'll agree! Let me know if you've read any of these in the comments below-happy reading!
