Top Ten Tuesday: Non-Bookish Hobbies 3/11/20

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

This is such an interesting topic. I think if you follow me on social media then you will probably know about a lot of these hobbies but I am sure a few will at least be interesting to you...

1. Travel. I have a travel insta and I love the fact that we have been able to see almost all of the states since we moved here 4 years ago. Here's to seeing the final 5 when we are able to travel again!

2. Collecting Starbucks. A friend of mine asked me how many Starbucks I thought I'd been to a few years ago and so I counted (I was still able to) and since then I have tried to take in new Starbucks when we visit somewhere and keep track of them using the Swarm app.

3. Shopping, there's a reason I was gifted the shopaholic novel when it first came out, I love shopping and have visited both of the biggest shopping malls in America (in terms of square footage and in terms of retail space) and I love getting a bargain whether that's in store or online.

4. Movies. You should also know this from the fact that I also review movies on my BookTube channel and love making book vs movie videos!

5. Musical theatre, and I love when they would show musicals in the movies theatre. Seeing shows in this country is so much more expensive than seeing them back home so I haven't been able to keep this up as much since living in the states...

6. Whisky. I have based holidays around visiting distilleries too, I like a single malt and I love finding out about different processes of distilling and different finishes. We have quite a whisky collection both sides of the Atlantic.

7. YouTube. I love making videos, finding out about the process behind them and the rationale for the platform and I love watching YouTube as well, there is just every kind of video you can think of out there.

8. Disney. I used to be so into Disney and then I got engaged there and that didn't work out so I kind of fell out of love with it. I have recently rediscovered my love of being in the magical world of the mouse and I can't wait to get back to Disney World/Disney Land when it is safe to do so!

Obviously I love reading about all of these things too!

What other hobbies do you have aside from reading?
