Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books I Wish Could Have Had Sequels

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because they are particularly fond of lists over there at The Broke and the Bookish. I'd love to share my lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!

I think we can all agree that sometimes an epilogue just isn't enough. You finish a book and you MISS the characters, you are left with a book hangover and you are dying to share your thoughts with someone you left behind between the pages of your book. Here is my list of books I wish could have sequels...

1. The ultimate one has to be The Greatest Love Story Of All Time, I HAVE to find out what becomes of Dave. Lucy Robinson rumoured that she was trying to write him into something else, but I need to be reunited with him now definitely!

2. the Mummyfesto by Linda Green is definitely one where I want to revisit the characters and find out how they are all getting on!

3. The school Gates by ancillary May, another one where a sequel may be on the cards but still nothing as yet so I am definitely including this one!

4. Geek Girl by Holly Smale, I actually know the release day for the sequel to this one BUT that doesn't stop me wanting it and more does it?

5. Forever by Judy Blume. Definitely one where I want to know what happens next, and have been wanting to know this for many, many years!

6. The house we grew up in by Lisa Jewell. Having read this BRILLIANT book recently, I would really like to know what happened to everyone after the epilogue...

7. One Day by David Nicholls. I know this books appears on so many of my top tens but I would love to catch up with Dex now and know what he's up to.

8. The Naughty Girls Book Club by Sophie Hart. Not only would I love a sequel to this book, I would also like to join in their book club. Sometimes an epilogue just isn't enough...

9. Fairytale of New York by Miranda Dickinson. I would love to catch up with these characters again and spend some more time in New York for a bit longer!

10. I'll finish as I started with another cracker from Lucy Robinson. Basically I just  want to read more of her writing because it makes me wet myself with laughter. I hope to hear from her very soon and hole she is feeling tons better!

I could go on and on, sometimes series of books can be annoying, waiting for the next one, having a never ending saga, but at least they let you catch up with old characters rather than these fabulous novels which just left me wanting more.

Let me know what you would put in your list, and if you agree with any of my choices...
